This includes but is not limited to ensuring that various group policies are understood and adhered to throughout the organisation.The Position is responsible for the effective implementation of internal controls and to ensure that all entities comply with internal control policies and principles as prescribed in the Groups Policies Procedures.The Position will support the Financial Controller and Head, Group finance in project evaluation and the JV business partnership set up where applicable.The Position will actively manage the working capital of Group and constantly look for ways to improve the return on invested capital. The Position will drive this by ensuring that billing processes are well documented and trained so that timely invoicing can take place as well as aggressively following up on overdue positions in conjunction with the business leaders.The Position will support the Financial Controller and Head, Group finance in the development and implementation of the overall Phee Group business strategy and help convert this into concrete financial plans.The Position will support the Financial Controller and Head, Group finance in the annual budgeting and forecasting process which include the definition of the overall process, timelines, templates, business guidance, review and final presentation of consolidated budget to group managementThe Position is responsible for the various shortterm forecasting processes in support of the current outlook process for PL and significant cash flow items capital expenditure and funding requirement The Position will ensure maximisation of profit margins and support cost savingefficiency programsThe Position will review compliance on customer invoicing terms and ensure effective use of internal controls and reconciliation tools are in place to drive complete collection on accounts receivablesThe Position will oversee financial analysis that will accurately reflect business trends for decisionmaking purposes and support various adhoc business reviews to help improve our performance metricsAssist the Financial Controller and Head, Group Finance in reviewing and challenging various capital investment requests and ensure that the limited available resources are invested in the most effective way to reach the defined goalsBrief the Head, Group Finance and group senior management regarding the financial performance of the Group and its entities on a regular basis and highlight areas of risk, concerns as well as upsides.The Position is responsible for various treasury activities in Myanmar to ensure timely and correct reporting or matters such as bank guarantees, bank accounts, material cash movements, shortterm liquidity forecasting and the minimisation of loss from currency exchanges.Together with the Financial Controller, the Position constantly reviews and optimises the tax position of the various legal and operational entities under Phee Group in Myanmar and ensure that appropriate capital structures for the legal entities are in place. Heshe also to ensure proper tax compliance at the local level.The Position may be elected to join the board of directors of fully consolidated companies within the regions or represent Phee Group on boards of joint ventures where the company holds a minority interestHeShe is overall responsible for the accurate usage of various financial reporting and ERP solutions including user management, user training, business process improvements, rollout of new systems in existing entities or rollout of existing systems in newly acquired entitiesHeShe will participate in the mentoring scheme whereby heshe will take on multiple junior senior management members and act as their mentor with a special focus on helping their development in the area of financial management
